The Real Housewives of New Jersey filmed their reunion on January 10th — but according to an inside snitch, the main event was actually made-for-TV fakery.
“Producers knew that they needed to crank up the drama, but the reunion fight between Teresa and Melissa was 100% fake,” dished our exclusive source. “The ladies were actually struggling to keep straight faces.”
The insider added that pulling off believable family malice proved to be a challenge.
“Teresa and Melissa had a hard time playing up their hyped beef,” revealed the insider. “The exchange actually had to stop at one point, because the women were dissolving into laughter.”
AllAboutTheTEA.com was also told that executive producer, Dorothy Toran, held one-on-one meetings with every cast member, to amp the reunion narrative and swear the ladies to secrecy.
The women were allegedly forbidden to talk, text or tweet about the covert sit-down — and were warned that fines would be levied if they leaked any reunion tea.

Teresa and Melissa share a long history of sisterly discord — but their Season 9 conflict has been a hard sell. Forced squabbles surrounding the care of Teresa and Joe Gorga’s father have fans raising eyebrows, and smelling a Bravo rat.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Wednesday nights at 9 pm, ET, on Bravo.
