Jeff Lewis Begs Bravo To Re-Hire Him With Change.org Petition!
Jeff Lewis’ fans have started a petition to get his contract with Bravo renewed.
The petition launched on Change.org was started by super-fan Andrew Holdaway. ‘Fans of Bravo’s hit television show Flipping Out are devastated Bravo executives made the decision not to renew Jeff Lewis’ contract, essentially ending the series with this decision,’ the petition began.
On Wednesday, the Flipping Out star, urged his 792,000 Instagram followers to sign the Change.org petition to save his Bravo reality series. ‘I’m normally not political, but this is an important cause,’ the 48-year-old reality star wrote on social media.
As reported, the controversial Bravoleb revealed his contract with Bravo expired on October 15, on social media — sharing a picture of his going away card. ‘I guess there’s no going away party?’ wrote the real estate flipper.
The petition notes that the Bravo reality series featuring, Jeff Lewis and his partner, Gage Edward, has been on air for 11 years and surpassed 100 episodes last month.
‘We just watched Jeff and Gage hit another milestone: becoming fathers for the first time and inviting their daughter Monroe into the world,’ the petition read. ‘Flipping Out isn’t just about flipping houses, or interior design.
‘The show follows Jeff Lewis and the work he puts in day in and day out to be the best father, the best for his clients, and provide for everyone that relies on him … Bravo executives need to sit down and work out their differences with Jeff, and renew his contract, without delay.’
In an October appearance on Jenny McCarthy’s SiriusXM show, Jeff said he had ‘a lot of problems’ with Bravo amid ongoing problems that have been in the headlines — one from a former co-star, Jenni Pulos, and another from the surrogate of his daughter.
Jeff, 48, and Jenni, 45, ended their 11-year friendship and business relationship, after a blowout fight. The decision to part ways was not mutual — Jeff requested Jenni “move on” from his company, Jeff Lewis Design. “I did it because I thought it really was the best for both of us,” Jeff said during a recent broadcast of his Sirius radio show, “All of this was very civil, I thought.”
In addition, Jeff says Bravo is pissed at him for spilling too many insider show secrets on his weekly SiriusXM radio show. As AllAboutTheTea.com exclusively reported, Jeff was fined by Bravo for an unauthorized interview with Kelly Dodd.
‘I’ve had a lot of heat from Bravo,’ Lewis said, later adding, ‘I am looking for a job.’
Bravo officials have not officially announced the show’s cancellation.
Flipping Out airs on Tuesday nights at 10:00 p.m. ET, on Bravo.
