Feds Seize FAKE Designer Bags And Jewelry In Jen Shah Home Raid

The feds just seized a ton of faux designer bags and jewelry from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Jen Shah when they raided her home in Utah. According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, Jen owned more than 30 knockoff designer bags and about 40 pieces of fake jewelry.

Jen’s fake designer collection, which was mostly manufactured in China, included handbags that resemble high-end brands like Balenciaga, Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, Hermès, Valentino, and Fendi. Her fake jewelry collection had pieces made to resemble Tiffany & Co, Chanel, Dior, Bulgari, Gucci, Hermès, Cartier, and Louis Vuitton.

Although most of Jen’s designer collection was fake, a few real luxury accessories and jewelry were mixed from brands like Gucci, Versace, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, and Louis Vuitton. A few pieces from Jen’s RHOSLC costar, Meredith Marks, were also in her collection.

The feds seized all of Jen‘s faux items when they raided her house back in March 2021 as part of an investigation into her fraud case. As part of Jen’s guilty plea, she was ordered to forfeit $6.5 million and pay up to $9.5 million in restitution.

Jen admitted to the court that she “knew it was wrong” and that she was “so sorry” for the “many people” who were harmed. She also admitted to agreeing “with others to commit wire fraud” and “knew it misled” victims, specifically 10 of them who were over 55. She noted that there was a “misrepresentation of the product … regarding value of the service,” that “had little to no value.”

When Judge Sidney H. Stein asked Jen if she knew what she was doing was illegal and wrong, she replied, “Yes, your honor.”

“Ms. Shah is a good woman who crossed a line. She accepts full responsibility for her actions and deeply apologizes to all who have been harmed,” Jen’s lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, told The Daily Mail

“Ms. Shah is also sorry for disappointing her husband, children, family, friends, and supporters. Jen pled guilty because she wants to pay her debt to society and put this ordeal behind her and her family.”

As reported, Jen’s sentencing in her fraud case has been postponed again.

Twitter attorney, Ronald Richards, tweeted a screenshot of the motion from Jen Shah‘s attorney, Priya Chaudhry, on November 23.

Jen’s attorney filed the request and it was quickly approved by Judge Stein. Jen’s new sentencing hearing will now occur on Jan. 6, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Jen recently admitted that she attempted suicide after being trolled on social media by fake accounts created by Angie and Chris Harrington. As reported, during a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Jen shared how difficult it was to deal with what Chris did to her. He created a fake Instagram account with the name, shahexposed, amid Jen’s fraud case, in which he and Angie used to go after other Bravo stars, including Lisa Barlow.

During a lunch outing, Jen, 49, told  Lisa and Heather Gay, “I almost committed suicide. I tried to, okay? Because your friend is heartless and decided to drag me and my entire family. Because Omar and Sharrieff weren’t gonna have a mom. Sharrieff wasn’t going to have a wife.”

In a confessional, Jen explained that her suicide attempt really scared her family.

“I locked myself in the bathroom, and Coach was so scared, he had to kick the door down because he didn’t know what I was gonna do. And Coach had to take me to the hospital. I was there for two and a half days.”

Jen continued to tell Lisa and Heather, “You guys have no f**king idea. You have no idea. The bullying is not okay.” Heather, 40, then clarified that she was not ok with what Angie H’s husband did.
