Danielle Staub Could Face ‘Aggravated Assault and Battery’ Charges For Attack On Margaret Josephs!
Danielle Staub may be facing criminal charges over her recently aired ‘brutal’ fight with Margaret Josephs!
As fans know, Margaret Josephs, 52, and Danielle Staub, 57, got into a physical altercation at a private shopping event on the most recent episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
After an explosive shouting match, Margaret Josephs grabbed a bottle of water and poured it right onto Danielle’s head. Danielle then snatched several items from Margaret’s purse and placed them inside a lit candle. Ultimately, the entire argument exploded with Danielle grabbing Margaret’s ponytail from behind and dragging her.
On January 1, Margaret opened up about the intense fight on Twitter, “Happy New Year! I just want to check in & say while everyone is anticipating tonight’s episode it is very painful for me to relive. The energy that day frightened me & to this day it still does. I have never hit anyone nor did I after being pushed or being assaulted from behind.” She began her statement.

Margaret Josephs goes on to defend her actions in an attempt to clarify that she was brutally attacked prompting her to douse Danielle Staub with water.
“2nd part: what I did do after a half hour of a brutal back and forth with my personal space being invaded was to pour water on someone who was clearly looking to assault me and push me into a physical altercation. I have been told I deserved it, I asked for it…. I was attacked” She tweeted on Jan 1.

After Danielle Staub bent Margaret in half by her ponytail — she claims that her neck snapped back and the enormity of the situation moved everyone on set to tears — including production.
“Part 3: a full 12 minutes after the fact from behind. My neck was snapped back, easily could have been broken. I could not defend myself. I could have been paralyzed. Everyone was crying including production. It was horrific. I wanted to forget move on . To this day devastated.” Margaret Josephs wrote.

When responding to a fan, Margaret Josephs revealed that she’s considering pursing “aggravated assault and battery,” charges against Danielle Staub for the hair pull attack.
“You can have your opinions but in NJ assault is causing bodily injury. She can be actually charged with aggravated assault and battery. I cannot. The only reason I haven’t is because I don’t want to keep reliving this. It doesn’t mean I can’t change my mind.” Margaret Josephs replied on Jan 1.
