Luann De Lesseps Demands $3.5M For Upcoming Season Of ‘RHONY’ Despite Her Job Being In Danger!
Luann de Lesseps wants a pay raise and is demanding $3.5 million to appear on the next season of The Real Housewives of New York City despite her job being on the chopping block over her excessive drinking.
“She wants more money than Bethenny, which would essentially make her the highest paid housewife,” an insider tells Radar.
As reported, the Bravoleb’s Real Housewives of New York job is in jeopardy over her reckless drinking and legal drama.
On May 23, the Real Housewives of New York City star struck a sweet plea deal, after a Palm Beach County judge ordered her to jail for violating terms of her probation. Hours after being taken into custody, the judge recalled Luann’s case and offered her a new plea deal.
However, Luann’s recent probation violation arrest did not faze the singer and she joked about the incident during one of her recent cabaret shows.
According to the report, Luann feels she’s worthy of the pay raise due to her cabaret fame but her friends and family hope she leaves the show because it’s not a conducive environment for a recovering alcoholic.
“Luann will never be able to live a sober and peaceful life until she’s off this reality show. Booze is everywhere on the show and she knows she needs to not only change her behavior but also everyone around her,” said the insider. “How can she stay sober and be on a show where alcohol is practically a full-time member of the cast?”
As fans know, the Countess has struggled to stay sober after falling off the wagon numerous times since attending rehab twice.
The Real Housewives of New York airs Wednesday nights, at 9:00 pm ET, on Bravo.
