Kathryn Dennis Feels Everyone Should Go To Rehab For ‘Life Skills’ NOT ‘Drugs’ — New Woman or Jealous Druggie?
Kathryn Dennis promises that fans will see a whole new person on the brand new season of Southern Charm.
Kathryn was a bird-flipping loose cannon last season — and was later exposed as a drug user, during a battle for the custody of her children. Kathryn recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight — but brushed off why she was forced into a rehab facility, last summer.
“You know, it’s been a long haul. But I feel more me than I’ve ever felt in a long time,” Kathryn said. “I’m really at peace with everything. What I went through wasn’t just addressing drug, alcohol whatever; it was more beneficial in life skills. And honestly, in a way, I think everyone should go to some type of rehab cause you just learn so much about people and life. And I think that’s really been key.”
Kathryn believes that “everyone” should go into rehab — maybe not for “drug, alcohol whatever,” but for acquiring “life skills?” Kathryn tested positive for cocaine, marijuana, and opiates — and according to ex-lover, Thomas Ravenel, Kathryn is shirking follow-up testing.

Perhaps Kathryn didn’t learn that accountability is a “key” life skill, during her educational break from Charleston.
Kathryn claims that she’s a new woman — but she sure sounds like the same jealous hothead, when speaking of co-star, Landon Clements. Kathryn said that viewers won’t see her “acting all crazy, flipping people the finger,” but that didn’t stop her from blasting Landon, as the season launched.

Kathryn responded to a recent dig by Landon — who snarked that Kathryn was hunting her next “victim” during her life-quest in California.
“She’s pretty ballsy and kind of an idiot because the things she says are such a polarizing, dramatic version of what someone ever could say,” Kathryn recently told People. “The fact that she said that is so pathetic because she’s grabbing at straws to remain relevant.”
“To especially target someone that is going through a process that’s not only difficult regarding the rehab … it’s sheer obviousness what her intentions are, and I think she projects those onto me,” Kathryn explained. “Because what did she do in L.A.? She found herself a rich husband who decided to divorce her. And now she’s in Charleston doing the same thing.”
Kathryn accused Landon of “targeting someone in a process,” but she herself continues to minimize her substance abuse issues. Kathryn had just stated the day before that rehab had been most valuable for learning about “people and life.” The vagueness is real — and Landon is evidently cluttering Kathryn’s shifty reality game.

Bravo is painting a potential love story brewing between Thomas and Landon — and Kathryn can barely hold back her kicks and screams.
“Something’s been happening, of course,” Kathryn told ET. “Now she’s got her moment to move in. Hey, I think they’re pretty equal so maybe they found their equals and that’s fine. But she’ll never be around my children. I know that. I disagree with morals and her lifestyle — but let them eat cake.”
Kathryn gave her thoughts on the current cast, and how she has reacted to the latest drama.
“When I see things, of course I feel that natural, knee-jerk anger,” she said. “But afterward I think to myself, These people are so — I don’t want to use the word shallow, but they’re like potatoes and I’m the meat. I’m real and straightforward, and I’d rather live like that any day than be somebody that’s spending their time judging others. I don’t care about their lives and their personal choices.”
Thomas has reportedly renewed his bid to secure full custody of the children, because of Kathryn’s ongoing drug test evasions. Meanwhile, Kathryn continues to dodge and weave, focusing on the reality spotlight — not her reality as a mother.
Watch Southern Charm, Monday nights on Bravo at 9:00 p.m. ET.
