This will be the first on camera interview for Bravo’s felon princess since being released from prison on December 23. The airing of the GMA interview coincides with the release of her prison memoir, “Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again.”
Giudice was released from prison after serving 11.5 months for bankruptcy and mortgage fraud. The terms of her release include home confinement until February 5, reporting to a probation officer and wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet.
Giudice has been working on the audio recordings for her upcoming book and gearing up for a book tour in February. Teresa’s prison memoir will be released next month and from all accounts, the book promises to be a snooze.
At the time of her release, her lawyer, James J. Leonard Jr., spoke to BravoTV about Teresa’s prison experience.
“I think she has grown during this process,” he said. “I feel comfortable saying the I definitely think she has become a little bit more insightful. And I think that what you’ll see when she comes home is perhaps somebody that will maybe slow down a little bit and smell the roses.”
If “slow down and smell the roses” entails accepting a $90k Lexus SUV gift despite owing creditors $14 million then I guess Giudice is doing just that. And if “insightful,” means encouraging an UBER driver to break the law then she’s right on track.
