Teresa Giudice was pulled over by police Thursday night, narrowly evading violating her probation.

Giudice was released from prison last month after serving 11.5 months for bankruptcy and mortgage fraud. The terms of her release include home confinement until February 5, reporting to a probation officer and wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet. With permission from probation, she’s allowed to leave her home for events approved in advanced.

Probations approved Giudice to attend her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga’s ENVY grand opening in Montclair, New Jersey on January 14. The Montclair store opening marks Giudice’s first red carpet outing since her Dec. 23 prison release. However, she almost landed herself back in the slammer.

Giudice has a 10:00 p.m. curfew, and the reality diva didn’t give herself enough time to get home safely. Therefore, she urged her Uber driver break the law by speeding in order to get her home before curfew. As a result, her driver was pulled over by a cop for speeding, TMZ claims.

Giudice explained to the officer that she was responsible for her chauffeur’s reckless driving above the speed limit and the officer gave her a break; allowing Giudice to make it home just before curfew.

The felon’s daughter Gia, who attended the event with her mother, was in the vehicle during the harrowing episode.
