Apollo Nida Files For Divorce After Phaedra Parks Claimed Their Divorce Was Finalized
Hold everything! The divorce filed by Phaedra Parks from Apollo Nida just got a hitch in its giddy-up.
Although The Real Housewives of Atlanta star confirmed her divorce from Nida was finalized last month, turns out Nida threw a hail-Mary pass at the courthouse on December 1 — and filed his own divorce petition.
While this isn’t breaking news, it’s definitely bizarre considering Mrs. Parks claimed the two had finalized their divorce in November. It’s safe to say something is up here!

Nida is seeking joint legal custody of his two kids, Ayden, 6, and Dylan, 3.
Nida is currently incarcerated, serving an eight year sentence for fraud. This is his second stint in the federal penitentiary system. Nida is also seeking an equitable split of their assets, and lists the date of separation as June 2014.
As reported, Nida is currently engaged to his fiancé, Shereen Almuti, who visits the prison weekly and will make an appearance this season of RHOA.

Phaedra was previously asked by Raquel Harper of TMZ if she would ever consider a reconciliation with Nida. Phaedra responded she will “never say never.”
“I never say never, but in this case, I don’t think that will be a possibility. At the end of the day, we’re friends and we have our kids together, so we’ll always be friends,” Phaedra said. “We’ll always have a relationship.”
Tell us what you think. Does Nida have a shot of joint legal custody? Does Phaedra still want to be friends? Tune in on Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. on Bravo.
