Kenya Moore & Sheree Whitfield Throw Shade About Houses & Porsha Crashes The Party On ‘RHOA’ Season 9 Premiere

Are you ready for the ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta? 

Ready or not, our favorite Georgia peaches are back tonight with new drama to wet your appetites.

This year, unlike previous seasons — storylines will focus on personal relationships and family drama as opposed to the normal infighting among the ladies.

Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams are all returning, and RHOA alum, Shereè Whitfield, is back as a full-time ‘Housewife.’ RHOA O.G. NeNe Leakes confirmed she has not been asked back as a full-time cast member but will likely make a few guest appearances. 

Sheree and Kenya continue their battle of the mansions in Season 9. As viewers saw in Season 8, both Sheree and Kenya have lavish homes under construction just down the street from one another, and the ladies have exchanged shade regarding their respective lodgings. The two wagered bets who would have their home completed by Christmas. In the teaser for the new season, Whitfield is heard saying:

“The bitch is back and the Chateau is finally ready,” says Whitfield, flaunting her own newly finished mansion. “Unlike ‘More Work Needed Manor!'”

“Look, ho–” Moore says, before Whitfield fires back: “Ho?! Why you running away with your unfinished ass house?!”

On tonight’s Season 9 opener, Kenya and Sheree inch closer to completing their homes — Kenya invites some of the ladies over to preview her renovations when things quickly turn shady. Moore dropped $515k on the fixer upper last year, located 15-minutes outside of Buckhead. She paid cash and almost instantly began extensive remodeling. 

“This is nice, it’s come a long way.” Sheree tells Kenya.

“It’s been a long journey — I can’t imagine what five years feels like.” Kenya responds.

Sheree immediately takes offense and says in a Talking Head, “Uh…uh…this ain’t what you want, Kenya Moore!”

“It’s not taken five years. I didn’t break ground until 2012. So it’s been four, so your off by one year. But this whole house is the same size of my master suite!” Sheree snarks at Moore.

Sheree inquires, who all is invited to the soiree — Kenya tells her, she didn’t invite Porsha because of her violent tendencies. “You’re [Porsha] cool with me but I just don’t want you tearing up my house. I just want to be safe in my in home.” Kenya tells Sheree.

Although Kenya did not invite Porsha — Porsha missed the memo and may crash the party. Porsha is seen driving and says, she’s on her way to a housewarming for Kenya. Security!!! 

In another twist, Kenya’s on-again off-again boyfriend, Matt Jordan, was spotted at the Moore Manor housewarming celebration on June 29. Matt’s surprise appearance raised questions about the state of their broken relationship.
