Christine Brown Confirms She Will Continue To Film ‘Sister Wives’ As Single Woman

Christine Brown will remain a fixture on Sister Wives, even though she was the first of three wives to make a decision that ultimately left Kody Brown in a monogamous relationship with only one wife.

On Wednesday, Christine confirmed on TikTok that she wasn’t going anywhere.

“I am definitely not leaving Sister Wives,” Christine confirmed. ”I’m still doing Sister Wives. No worries, everybody.”

Christine also shared her brand new confessional interview set, which was assembled in the basement of her Utah home.

“This is the set in my home!” she said. “I’m so excited. You’re gonna love it.”

The decor featured bookshelves stacked with books, glass bottles, and various hats perched on mannequin heads.

“It’s like my favorite room in the house,” Christine shared, admitting that the set was the only completed area in her unfinished basement.

The basement reveal comes only days after the TLC mom of six shared a video of her last day on the Sister Wives set inside her Flagstaff house.

“This is the couch, right here, that I’ve sat on for years talking about the show and discussing my feelings,” she said. “This is the last time and it’s a little bittersweet.”

Christine had to drive eight hours twice a month to wrap up filming in her Arizona home, but now a production team has set up shop in Utah to document her new life as a single woman.

Christine and Kody confirmed their split in November 2021. Kody’s second wife, Janelle, announced that she had separated from the patriarch during the first part of the Sister Wives: One-on-One special. Kody’s first wife, Meri, also confirmed that her spiritual marriage to Kody was over during the episode.

Christine’s TikTok announcement wasn’t the first time she dished her plan to continue filming the TLC series.

Last month, Christine excitedly announced that she had welcomed cameras into her Salt Lake City, Utah home, one year after announcing her split from Kody.

The TLC star posted her announcement on Instagram, alongside a beaming selfie.

“I’m finally filming in my house in Salt Lake!!” Christine wrote. “So excited! #sisterwives #filming” and “#newbeginnings”

Christine’s news coincided with the reality series airing her final days with the Brown family, which included a family meeting that Christine described as “one of the saddest” conversations of her life. Kody exploded during the intense discussion, blasting Christine for her decision to leave the plural marriage.

Kody continued to rip into his ex during the post-season tell-all, telling host, Sukanya Krishnan, that Christine had “s**t-talked” Janelle and Meri for years.

Christine s**t-talked Janelle and Meri for two years to me,” Kody says in a sneak peek preview. “This is why I was getting frustrated.”

Kody stunned viewers when he accused Christine of sabotaging a potential reconciliation with his first wife, Meri.

Kody says—“I’d talk about reconciling with Meri and Christine loses it.”

Part 2 of Sister Wives: One-on-One airs on January 1, at 10 pm ET on TLC.
