Kathy Hilton Defends Kim Kardashian’s Christmas Party Outfit
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Kathy Hilton, slammed fans for hating on Kim Kardashian’s outfit during her holiday party.
Last week, Kathy Hilton hosted a Christmas party and Kim Kardashian was invited along with other A-list celebrities. Kim, however, stood out from the rest of the guests who were dressed in red and green dresses to mark the festive season. Kim wore a cropped concert t-shirt paired with black leather pants, and a lot of fans didn’t like her outfit choice. Kathy told TMZ that the backlash Kim received for her outfit was “ridiculous” and “silly.”
One fan said about Kim’s outfit, “Everyone dressed all nice and Kim looks like a 15YO teen that was forced to her parents [sic] party.”
“Did Kim not understand the holiday party attire assignment?” Another fan wrote about Kim’s black look and said it was disrespectful for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star to come to the party dressed like that.
Some fans defended Kim’s look since she had come from Mason Disick’s bar mitzvah earlier that day. However, they still found the look inappropriate for her nephew’s event even though her sisters were also dressed in black.
When asked what she thought of the look, Kathy said, “Everybody’s just [supposed] to come as they want and be comfortable.” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star insisted there was nothing wrong with Kim’s look. “No. She always looks beautiful.” Kendall and Kylie also attended Mason’s 13th birthday party wearing black outfits which matched the party’s dark theme. Kourtney and her ex Scott hosted the after party at Off Sunset in LA that Saturday night.
Kris Jenner was also dressed in black during Hilton’s Christmas party but didn’t get as much backlash as her daughter. Kourtney took to her Instagram to celebrate her sons Mason and Reign who were both born on December 14, five years apart. She posted a throwback photo of Mason and Reign and captioned it, “December 14th… one of the best days of my life, twice and forever. my birthday boys.”
Kris Jenner also penned a cute birthday post to her grandkids on their special day, “Happy birthday to two of the brightest lights in my life, my beautiful grandsons, Mason and Reign! Mason, you are my first-born grandson, and I am so very proud of you each and every day.”
