Kyle Richards MIA at Kathy Hilton’s Star-Studded Christmas Party
Kathy Hilton hosted her annual Christmas party over the weekend, and her younger sister and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar, Kyle Richards, was nowhere to be found.
Guests who made the list included Kathy and Kyle’s sister Kim Richards, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Heidi Klum, Paula Abdul, Crystal Kung-Minkoff, Faye Resnick, and more. The Hiltons — Rick, Paris, and Nicky also joined Kathy at her party.
Paris Hilton took to Instagram to show off a few flicks from the night.
“My mom always throws the most iconic parties … Loved celebrating the holidays with family and friends this weekend,” she captioned a slideshow of photos.
Other guests followed suit, sharing their photos to Instagram. One guest, Stuart Brazell, gave her followers a peak inside of the party, showing off a Moët vending machine, a grinch cake, and scenes from Paris’s DJ set that featured an impromptu performance of “Straight Up” by Paula Abdul.

Fans immediately noticed Kyle‘s absence.
The following day, the RHOBH OG shared a photo on Instagram of her sitting alongside her former lady sitter, E! News host, Justin Sylvester. In the photo, Justin gazes at Kyle as she holds what looks like a ring box.
Kyle captioned the photo, “For better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health… #bffs 🎄❤️”
Dorit Kemsley took to Kyle’s comment section and wrote, “True love 😍😘.” Carlos King dubbed the couple, “Will and Grace 😍” while TV personality, Brad Goreski, asked, “Are you getting married?” But it was the fans who took the picture of Kyle and Justin a little too seriously for Kyle’s liking.
“Gotta love the internet,” Kyle wrote in her Instagram Story. She attached a screenshot from an article that read, “Fans wonder if Kyle Richards has a new husband after star shares sweet pic with BFF Justin Sylvester.”
There’s no doubt that Kyle and Mauricio are still together. In fact, the Buying Beverly Hills star recently opened up about married life with the reality star.
“[I] let her talk, let her vent, let her talk about it, listen,” Mauricio said about life on RHOBH during a recent podcast interview.
“You know, that’s one of the most important things is to actually listen. I think her biggest frustration is when I am tuned out, and she wants to talk about it, and I have my mind on business and other stuff… That’s hard.”
Mauricio noted that he and Kyle are safe from the reality curse that leads couples to divorce.
He explained — “They get to see themselves on television, and they get to see the relationship of what it is themselves, and a lot of people have a perception of their own relationship being different than what it is, and then they see it because they watch it and then that causes the divorce.”
Mauricio continued, “There’s no question about that, right? So many people have opinions and it’s their obsession [so] you kinda just have to tune everything out, go about your business, entertain people and keep living life and not let it get to you.”
The father of four revealed his secret to outlasting temporary cast members on RHOBH.
“The husbands on [RHOBH] are pretty authentic, so I get along with all of them really well, and [RHOBH], I think more than some of the other ones, it’s really about the women, and we’re just in the background and having fun and being supportive,” he said.
“But I developed some amazing friendships. PK, and Harry, they’ve become really good friends of mine. I love them, and they’re just great people.”
