Wendy Osefo Reveals Peter Thomas Trash-Talked Mia Behind Her Back
On Sunday’s all-new episode of Real Housewives of Potomac – Wendy Osefo reveals Peter Thomas talked “s–t” about his so-called best bud, Mia Thornton.
In the scene from the upcoming episode, the professor gossips with RHOP co-stars, Ashley Darby, Karen Huger and Candiace Dillard about Peter Thomas badmouthing Mia Thornton behind her back.
“Well, let’s keep it real,” Wendy tells the ladies. “Peter told me that him and G [Thornton’s husband, Gordon] and Mia used to go on vacations together, but Mia did some snake s–t to Peter’s girlfriend at the time.”
Wendy Osefo then mocks Mia Thornton for claiming Peter is her “brother.”
“So all this, ‘Peter’s my brother?’ Since when is Peter your brother?” Wendy says. “Because last time I checked, Peter told me that he stopped messing with y’all.”
This conversation goes down a day after Wendy and Mia’s altercation at Peter Thomas’ restaurant in Miami. The John Hopkin’s assistant professor is still salty that Mia threw a drink in her face and tried to clock her over the head.
As reported, Mia Thornton, 38, and Wendy Osefo, 38, got into a physical altercation during a cast trip to Miami at Peter Thomas’ eatery BarOne.
Mia Thornton confronted Wendy on her supposed shady business practices and their interaction turned hostile. Wendy attacked Mia’s marriage, leading Mia to cool Wendy off by dowsing her with a drink. Needless to say, the situation escalated into an explosive screaming match on both ends. The fight concluded with Mia striking Wendy with her Louis Vuitton purse — and both ladies had to be restrained by security.
Wendy Osefo became acquainted with Peter Thomas when the two explored a joint venture of opening a Nigerian lounge in Baltimore, Maryland.
Peter Thomas told Mia that he had “beef” with Wendy for her lack of follow-through and the fact Wendy came to his city without checking in with him.
Mia confronted Wendy at the restaurant, telling her she should have notified Peter that she would be in town.
The argument exploded into violence and both ladies had to be restrained, separated and escorted off the venue by security.
“I’m hurt because I feel as though no one should violate someone and their space,” Wendy explains in the following preview of the Nov 27 episode, reflecting on the incident. “And she threw a drink at me over Peter?!”
Ashley Darby, 34, believes Mia’s explosive reaction stemmed from fear that Wendy might expose her secrets in the future.
“Whatever Wendy knows, whatever Mia did, it must be juicy, because the way Mia turned into Hulk at that table, this is something she doesn’t want anyone to know,” Ashley comments in a talking head confessional.

After the episode aired, Mia Thornton apologized for her actions on Twitter and shared regret for the incident: “I take FULL ACCOUNTABILITY, I was wrong. No one deserves to be treated with disrespect. I’m sorry I let you all down.” She tweeted on November 23.
In another tweet, Mia Thornton expressed even more remorse.
“My actions towards Wendy was [sic] intolerable,” she wrote after taking down her account.
“It’s unfortunate that you all will attack my family, friends and my businesses based on an edited tv show,” she continued.
“While I was committed to drama and entertainment I must do what’s best for [my] brand & partners. Much love, Mia.”
