Teddi Mellencamp Shades Kathy Hilton — Claims She ‘Doesn’t Show Up’ to Cast Events!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast trip to Aspen, Colorado is in full swing, and fans are ready to see if the upcoming drama lives up to the pre-season hype. Kathy Hilton allegedly used inappropriate slurs during the trip and said something negative about her sister, Kyle Richards. Kyle’s behavior toward Kathy has been ripped by fans thus far, but the popular “friend” is expected to land in hot water, in a later episode.
Teddi Mellencamp, a former RHOBH cast member and close pal of Kyle’s, spoke out about Kathy’s behavior during the trip on a recent episode of her podcast, Two Ts In a Pod.
Teddi hinted that Kathy “doesn’t show up” to cast gatherings and is often “sleeping.”
Co-host, Tamra Judge, asked—“How does she get away with that?”
Teddi then shaded Kathy for promoting her tequila brand, during a scene that aired last week.
“And then she comes up and she wants her two seconds of a shtick and then to plug her tequila,” Teddi said. “And they’re all stoned and laughing about it.”
Tamra chimed in—“Well the thing is, being a Housewife, as you know, they don’t like it when you just walk in and is like, ‘Oh my God, and here is my new da da da da [promotional product].’”
“This is my new cell phone case!” Teddi teased.
“This is my new cell phone. Cell Phones by Tamra,” the returning Real Housewives of Orange County star replied.

Tamra’s joke seemingly referenced the problematic launch of Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Shereé Whitfield’s “She By Shereé” clothing line, on Sunday.
Teddi’s commentary comes as fans continue to blast Kyle for what they see as the mistreatment of her sister during the cast getaway. Kyle assigned her sis a bunk bed in her Aspen vacation home, dissed her practical style, and labeled her “high maintenance” for requesting a napkin and utensils at dinner. Kyle later pilfered camera time to mock her sister’s choice of handbags, during another cast dinner.
In July, Kathy spoke to PEOPLE about the vacation controversy, confirming that things were “great” between herself and her sister.
“You know, I had said some things out of frustration that I was feeling personally,” she said, revealing that she had struggled with exhaustion throughout the trip.
She confessed that there were “some things that I should not have said,” but that the siblings had since resolved their issues.
The Season 12 trailer revealed Lisa Rinna stepping into the family conflict to moderate the situation.
“I think that she cares a lot about Kyle, and I think that she cares about me, and I think that she just wanted to help out,” Kathy said of Rinna’s intervention. “Hopefully everybody has good intentions and it works itself out. But I did apologize to Kyle. Sisters do go through things.”
She added— “I learned.”
