Ceaser was fired after a video of himself abusing dogs went viral on social media. When his ex-employee, Donna Lombardi, reposted the video and urged VH1 to fire Ceaser, she brought more attention to the scandal. While speaking out about Ceaser, Donna also accused the network of protecting their star’s dirty secrets. Donna alleged the abuse claims made by Ceaser’s daughter, Cheyenne, were true. The reality TV star’s daughter had accused him of beating her in his house while she was in the bathroom.

Cheyenne claimed her father physically abused her after they argued about her not washing dishes. During an Instagram Live, Cheyenne said that her father assaulted her while she was taking a shower. However, Ceaser did a press conference to clear his name and even threatened to sue his daughter’s mother, Crystal Torres, for defamation. In a prior Instagram Live, Crystal said she believed what Cheyenne claimed about her father. Since then, Ceaser has had a change of heart and says he regrets doing the press conference.

In a recent interview, Ceaser told Math Hoffa, “When it first hit, I feel like I didn’t handle it well. I went as a businessman instead of a father. I held a press conference instead of tryna find a way to rectify the situation.” The former Black Ink Crew star admitted that he should have done things differently but he didn’t know what to do at the time. “If people knew me and knew how I was for 10 years, people should know from my character I’m not that type of person.” Ceaser also made sure everyone knows that losing his job at VH1 didn’t affect his financial status.

Ceaser said, “VH1 don’t pay ****** like that. I got my **** on my own. People keep saying my paper’s affected, my paper’s not affected from VH1 letting me go. I have 8 tattoo shops, I got one more in the Bronx I’m bout to open up next month, and a couple others in Vegas and other stuff. That **** doesn’t stop a ************ who’s a hustler.” VH1 released a statement in June about Ceaser’s exit from their reality show. “We have made the decision to cut ties with Ceaser Emanuel from Black Ink Crew New York. Since next season was close to finishing production, this decision will not impact the upcoming season.”
