Fans Accuse Lisa Rinna Of Using Her Mother’s Death To Deflect From ‘RHODubai’ Drama!
Lisa Rinna has offered a weak apology to fans for her recent Instagram tirade, blaming her actions on grief following the death of her mother, Lois Rinna, who passed away last year.
Many Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans believe that she’s using the death of her beloved mom to get off the hook, after interjecting herself into the drama between Diana Jenkins and Garcelle Beauvais.
Garcelle called Diana “uneducated” after the newest RHOBH cast member lashed out at a black social media content creator, who insinuated that she had undergone plastic surgery. Diana hit back at her co-star, touting her charity work in Garcelle’s native Haiti.
Many fans slammed Diana for assuming that writing checks to charities absolves her from seemingly racist attitudes.
Both Lisa Rinna and Erika Jayne “liked” Diana’s posted comeback, but Rinna pushed it further by writing in a since-deleted comment —“when you have #receipts you show them.”
“We fight on our show,” Rinna wrote on her Instagram Stories, after being hit by negative feedback. “If we fight with Garcelle, we are, all of a sudden, called a racist. That’s bullshit. I will not accept that. I will express myself when and how I want, and I’m not afraid of any of you hoes.”
Rinna then shifted the drama over to the cast of The Real Housewives of Dubai, writing—“If you are just so triggered by our show—and a lot of you pussies are—go watch Dubai.”
The 58-year-old Bravo star took to Instagram Monday to share about her struggle with the grieving process—but many of Rinna’s fans and followers just aren’t buying it.
She wrote alongside a quote that read—”Grief never ends… But it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith…It is the price of love.”
Rinna wrote that she’s been having a “really rough time” since her mother’s death, adding—“I think you’ve seen how hard this has hit me.”
“I’m sorry if I’ve raged on you, about you- it really has nothing to do with any of you. I never thought I would feel this way. I really thought grief would be about sadness and pain but it’s so much more. I am really struggling, I just never thought it would feel like this but here it is.”
“Thank you for your patience with me I know it’s not easy to have warm fuzzies for me right now but I’ll get through this and hopefully come out the other side stronger and better.”
Fans had plenty to say about Rinna’s post, and many called out the reality star for seemingly using her mother’s death to deflect from her own bad behavior.
One fan tweeted—“I know Rinna is grieving. I get that. But when my own mother died, I never became racist.”
Another person wrote—“Not Rinna using grief as an excuse for her BS now… I rarely bring up LVP but did she not lose her brother suddenly and tragically during a certain season? I don’t recall anyone giving her a pass because of grief…”
A third tweeted—“Me watching Lisa Rinna use her sweet mother’s passing as an excuse for her disgusting behavior when she’s been acting like a maniac for years..”
One viewer ranted—“She started her obnoxious behavior her first season on #RHOBH with Kim and it escalated to a new victim every subsequent season. Her demented, jealous, chaotic narcissistic personality disorder has been established long ago. Don’t blame Lois, blame yourself Rinna & OWN IT!”
Another pointed out—“So Rinna can blame her grief for her actions…but Vanderpump, who lost both her mother and brother in the space of 18 months, wasn’t given that courtesy?”
