Diana Jenkins Throws Her Money In Garcelle Beauvais‘ Face After ‘Uneducated’ Diss!
Diana Jenkins clapped back at her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Garcelle Beauvais, after the actress called her “uneducated” during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live Wednesday.
Fans know that Diana issued a public apology earlier this month after a comment aimed at a black woman who runs a Bravo fan account went viral. Diana lashed out at the content creator, who insinuated that she had undergone plastic surgery by posting side-by-side photos of the newest RHOBH cast member.
She took to the comment section of the post writing— “it can’t feel good being a black content creator.”
The 49-year-old Bravo star touted her charity work in Garcelle’s native Haiti in a letter posted to her Instagram account, on Thursday.
“Dear Garcelle, Next time you go on national television why don’t you educate viewers on how many times I went to Haiti. Your home country,” she began.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina native, who has been honored by multiple charitable organizations, noted sending “planes full of first aid and medical supplies” to Garcelle’s homeland.
“Why don’t you tell viewers how many millions of my dollars I have given to your country. A woman from Bosnia did that,” she wrote.
She added—“Also you could have mentioned all the money i [sic] have given and everything I have done for woman [sic] rights in Congo and other 100% black communities.”
Diana concluded—“You are very familiar with all the work I have done for human rights all around the globe.”
The Bravo newbie came under recent fire after she named Garcelle “the least welcoming” in the group, for no apparent reason.
Fan reaction was mixed, but many Instagram users ripped Diana for leading with her bank account, while dodging the real issue.
One top comment read—“Don’t try to convince people you’re a good person by broadcasting how much MONEY you’ve given or donated! To be someone of such means, it’s a shame you’ve never heard of how TACKY it is to lead with your bank book!”
“And you are STILL uneducated! PERIOD DOT,” another person wrote.
“You deciding to single out Garcelle as the person you have a problem with is giving…..suspicion..” one user wrote.
“Garcelle said you weren’t educated on your choice of words in regards to the girl you attacked on Instagram, what does that have to do with what you’ve donated to a country….” another chimed in.
One fan wrote—“So because you donated to our country, that doesn’t mean you have educated yourself on the issues, lady. Next time try to get educated on how to address people like that young lady you made the remark on a few weeks ago. What Garcelle said still stands, ma’am. Thanks for the donation, though..”
“This doesn’t make you educated. This makes you wealthy. Using donations and charity as a way to seem educated… yikes. You should keep your mouth shut..” another person advised.
