Why This May Be Kyle Richards’ Last Season!
OG RHOBH star, Kyle Richards, has revealed that season 12 might be her last!
Kyle, 53 spoke to E! News while attending NBC Universal’s upfront presentations. Kyle told the outlet that sometimes she doesn’t think she can continue filming the reality show. Richards has been a cast member on RHOBH since the first season, and she is currently the only OG cast member left.
“I always say, ‘I don’t know,’ and each season I think, ‘Well maybe I can do one more,'” Kyle said. “And sometimes I’m just like, ‘How can I keep doing this?’ especially when I get really upset, like this last season when we ended.” Richards also added that filming season 12 took a huge toll on her and was even adamant at one point that it would be her last.
“I was like, ‘There’s absolutely no way,'” she recalled. “‘I’m done. I’m finished. I want to live my life in peace. I can’t take this.'” Kyle also dished that sometimes she just needs time to digest the show’s episodes. “I don’t know. I just take it day by day,” she said. One of the reasons filming the current season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was so hard for Kyle was because of her feud with sister, Kathy Hilton.
Kyle Richards spoke to Page Six about her feud with her sister saying it is very complex. “It’s so complicated and complex. All I can say is, we’re family and we’re going to have these moments. I feel like my sisters and I, we have arguments, we make up, we’re blood. I don’t know if everyone is like that. The fact that we’re on television complicates things.”
Hilton, 63, spoke about her relationship with Kyle after their season 12 drama. “You know, we’re sisters and we all enjoy each other when we’re together,” she shared. “I don’t want to give away the storyline. I should have never said anything to anyone about my sister Kyle, or anyone.” Kathy added that they are now friendly and she knows she shouldn’t have said anything.
Hilton joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on season 11. Despite their feud this season, the sisters are back on good terms after the loss of one of Kyle’s friends to mental illness.
