NeNe Leakes came after former Real Housewives of Atlanta drop-in, Dwight Eubanks, after he was given a guest gig to commentate on a repeat episode of the series, which aired on Sunday.
Fans will remember Dwight popping in to offer fashion advice and plan parties, in past RHOA seasons.
The blast-from-the-past stylist joined former RHOA star, Sheree Whitfield, to dish from the sidelines, as the episode aired. Dwight promoted the episode on his Instagram account, and NeNe Leakes promptly threw shade on his excited post.
“They sho use u when they need cha,” NeNe wrote.
NeNe also seemingly mocked one of Dwight’s earlier posts, promoting his upcoming appearance. NeNe weighed in by posting a series of laughing emojis.
NeNe posted, “🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.”
NeNe’s followers know that the ex reality star has been coming for Bravo for months now, alleging unfair practices and racist motives. NeNe left the series after she was offered only six episodes in the currently airing season.
“Y’all ready to start this boycott yet? What has happened behind the scenes is WRONG!” NeNe tweeted on Monday, December 21. “While others were being promoted, BLACK WOMEN who created shows, created genres, built franchise and built networks were being DEMOTED … TURN OFF YOUR TV’S.”
“Sign the petitions when you see them, repost the boycott flyers when you see them, turn off your TVs,” she added.
Fans did not hold back, slamming the former RHOA diva for throwing Instagram shade at Dwight. It appears that many people are tiring of NeNe’s crusade.
Many fans accused NeNe of selective outrage.
“it’s crazy how you have so much to say about bravo now that they fired you but when you was on the show it was all good because you was getting a check stop being so bitter you giving me hater vibes ms.leakes,” a user wrote.
“you’re exposing how bothered you are. If you’re a rich bitch and above it all, why are you keeping up with what’s going on with the show? Move on🤷🏽♀️,” another fan asked.
“love you but you but you need to move on ….you’re so talented take your talent somewhere else. Stay off his page let people do what they want to do…..” another said.
“Yo miserable ass aint wrote on this man page in how long? YOUR SO ANGRY, BITTER and Prolly Musty. Energy just STANK!” one fan declared.
“She DIDNT and DONT give a damn about blk ppl. She tried to get how many fired? Please😂” another said.
“duh. It’s a BUSINESS at the end of the day… and that’s what you fail to realize. Should have been professional and kept the drama only ON camera with the cast. Not production and the people who pay You. You were a WORKER. People get fired everyday b,” one user pointed out.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Sundays at 8 pm, ET, on Bravo.
