Andy Cohen Finally Speaks Up On Kelly Dodd Backlash, Says Fans Should Be Outraged!
Real Housewives head honcho, Andy Cohen, is finally speaking up on all the backlash Kelly Dodd’s received behind her most recent controversies.
Kelly Dodd is known for being outspoken, but with all the craziness that 2020 has brought, fans stopped praising the 45-year-old. At the height of the coronavirus pandemic, production for RHOC’s Season 15 was forced to shut down. However, a very skeptical Kelly Dodd still traveled across the country without wearing face masks and has made controversial remarks about the virus.
In October, the Real Housewives of Orange County star was called out for mocking the Black Lives Matter movement by wearing a ‘Drunk Wives Matter’ hat. Not only did Kelly receive a lot of backlash from her fans, but other Housewives stars, including RHOA’s Porsha Williams and RHOC alum, Heather Dubrow, were also pissed.
Andy Cohen was recently a guest on Everything Iconic podcast where he gave his two cents on Kelly’s controversial moments and the backlash she’s received.
“People have always celebrated Kelly for her outspokenness,” Andy Cohen said. “People are usually celebrated for [being outspoken and polarizing]. But there’s been a reckoning of sorts and the line is being drawn by some fans as to what they’ll accept and what they won’t and that’s entirely their right.”
