‘RHOC’ Stars Kelly Dodd & Shannon Beador’s NEW Friendship Is For TV Only!
The Real Housewives of Orange County filming season was shut down due to coronavirus chaos — but not before Kelly Dodd and Shannon Beador kicked off a renewed friendship.
“The Kelly and Shannon make-up on RHOC had just happened and then everything got shut down and it’s really, really good TV so far,” a production source told HollywoodLife.
As reported, RHOC alums, Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge unfollowed Shannon, 56, in March, after she posted a cozy double-couple pic with her beau, John Janssen, Kelly, 44, and Kelly’s fiance, Rick Leventhal. Vicki and Tamra announced their departures from the reality franchise, in January. Social media fans noticed that Kelly and Shannon had turned a corner — and Vicki and Tamra were not happy.
“Despite Vicki and Tamra being gone, the cast is really bringing their A-game,” the snitch added, hinting at a high drama season.
According to the insider, the cast is happy that Kelly Dodd and Shannon Beador have buried the hatchet.
“The remaining ladies are really happy Shannon and Kelly put their differences aside,” the source said, pointing to Kelly’s romance as a game changer. “Kelly is really in a different place now that she’s engaged to Rick. She’s a little calmer and more open minded. It’s definitely a different Kelly this season and Shannon has never been happier, either. Both of the ladies realized it was time to just get along, especially with Tamra and Vicki not on the show anymore. It was just time to move on.”
Will viewers embrace Kelly Dodd and Shannon Beador as reality besties?
The Real Housewives of Orange County will premiere later this year.
