Jenna MacGillivray’s featured scenes have been mostly galley flirt fests — and viewers  are clearly annoyed by Jenna’s hard push for a workplace romance.

Jenna MacGillivray responded to fan complaints during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live.  “When I am working in the pantry, the stew pantry, it’s also the galley, so it seems like I’m with Adam all the time,” Jenna explained. “But I’m in the stew pantry as well.”

Jenna clapped back at fans earlier in the season on Twitter.  “Believe it or not, a woman in charge can be both good at her job, and have a love interest. If a woman is flirting at work, suddenly her capabilities as a boss are in question? Last time I checked, the majority of the world have jobs, and a partner. Go figure.” She wrote on February 20.

The budding romance heated up during Monday’s episode — and fans have responded with a collective social media cringe.

Jenna MacGillivray defended herself on Twitter on Thursday — and reminded viewers that her kitchen canoodle is more interesting to watch than the actual work. “Wouldn’t the show be boring if I was only shown working my ass off pleasing the guests..because just in case you haven’t noticed every guest has been stoked on the WHOLE crew. Therefore, showing me in the galley flirting, is a little bit more interesting than showing me just work.” She tweeted on March 5.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs on Monday nights, at 9 pm, ET, on Bravo.
