Lisa Vanderpump Sued by Former Employees For Allegedly Not Paying Wages!
A former employee of Lisa Vanderpump has filed a class action lawsuit against the British restauranteur and her husband for allegedly breaking California labor laws at their restaurants.
Adam Pierce Antoine three months until Christmas Eve 2018 — the lawsuit filed in December states. He claims that he and other California employees worked at the pair’s various eateries, including SUR, Pump and Tom Tom.
The plaintiff claims that for the past four years, Lisa Vanderpump and husband Ken Todd did not pay workers minimum and overtime wages, provide proper meal and rest breaks, provide accurate wage statements or provide workers with pay stubs at the end of their employment.
However, Lisa Vanderpump and husband Ken Todd claim the lawsuit is an act of revenge by two ‘disgruntled’ former employees.
“These were two disgruntled ex-employees that had been written up with many warnings by management and subsequently let go,” a source from Vanderpump and Todd’s business told E! News. “Lisa and Ken do not tolerate anyone that may be abusive to their staff or to patrons.”
Back in August, Lisa Vanderpump’s popular restaurant SUR was sued by a woman who claimed to have gotten violently ill while eating there two years ago that she began to vomit “profusely” before “defecating” on the floor.
