Shannon Beador’s soon-to-be ex husband, David Beador, has filed an order to prevent her from drinking alcohol around their children.
On Tuesday, the Real Housewives of Orange County star’s estranged husband of 17 years requested an order to prevent her from consuming alcohol around their three teenage daughters: Sophie, 16; and twins Adeline & Stella, 14.
If granted by the OC Superior Court judge, the 54-year-old reality star would be prohibited from drinking eight hours before or during her time with her the couple’s kids, according to The Blast.
“The mother had publicly stated on television within the last month, she “self-medicates” with alcohol. That behavior is detrimental to the children,” the 53-year-old businessman’s legal docs stated.
David Beador currently pays her $22,500 of temporary child and spousal support monthly, and Shannon is requesting that he has visitation rights only and joint legal custody of their kids.
Back in March, the father of three stated in court documents that his ex drinks alcohol excessively.
“Shannon is not fostering or encouraging a healthy father child relationship. Moreover, Shannon’s employment encourages excess drinking and extended travel to which Shannon has chosen not to inform me and make accommodations for the kids to stay with me while she is away.”
Shannon and David wed on September 16, 2000 and separated September 20, 2017.
