Landon Clements Supports Thomas Ravenel Amid Sexual Assault Allegations: ‘Thomas Is A Good Person’
Landon Clements is sticking up for former Southern Charm co-star, Thomas Ravenel, after his recent arrest for assault and battery.
Landon spoke to US Weekly at the Sixth Annual UNICEF Masquerade Ball in Los Angeles, and revealed her reluctance to believe Ravenel’s accuser’s story.
“I know in my heart that Thomas is a good person and whatever happened, happened. I wasn’t there that night,” Landon told the outlet on Thursday. “But I can’t imagine that he would ever hurt anyone.”
Thomas Ravenel former baby nurse, Dawn Ledwell, accused the ex reality star of sexually assaulting her in 2015. Ravenel, 56, was arrested in September, and charged with assault and battery in the second degree. Ravenel denies Ledwell’s allegations.

Landon, 36, kept tight-lipped due to the ongoing nature of the case, commenting— “because it is an ongoing court procedure, I can’t really comment and I don’t want to comment…I will let the courts take care of it, I suppose.”
Landon Clements shared that she was not in current contact with Ravenel, but revealed that she did maintain connections with others in the popular cast.
“Mostly Shep [Rose],” Landon said when asked about communication with the cast. “I mean we’ve been friends for so long, he’s like a brother, it’s like a love-hate relationship always, but you know I still talk to him. He was just in England with a bunch of our friends this summer.”
“Whitney [Sudler-Smith] and I are still super close,” she continued. “You know I knew Whitney actually from my ex-husband because one of my ex-husband’s best friends went to boarding school with him. So it’s all a very tangled web. Even if I don’t talk to them on a regular basis, I doesn’t mean that I don’t love them. They have a big place in my heart always.”
Southern Charm is currently filming season 6 of the Bravo reality series.
