David Foster called it quits with his ex-wife, Yolanda Hadid, 53, in December 2015 after four years of marriage.

The relationship between stepchild and stepparent often dissolves after divorce and that appears to be the case with David and his former stepdaughters: Gigi and Bella Hadid.

“I mean divorce puts a strain on everybody, yeah but Gigi and Bella are doing amazing and they’re so busy that I don’t talk to them much but we do text, yeah we’re still good,” he told DailyMailTV

Although David thought the drama of his former marriage was behind him — the dust started swirling again when Yolanda penned “Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease,” which revisits disturbing memories from the former couple’s relationship.

“Yolanda had to write a book about her journey with her disease. In a way, I was a little bit of a drive by shooting in the book, but uhm, we’re all good now. She’s happy, she’s healthy. She’s with her kids in New York, she’s on her farm.”

David calls the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s portrayal of their marriage in her new book, “disappointing.”

“In a ten year, nine-year relationship you can find ten bad things to say about anybody,” he shared. “And it’s a little disappointing that she went there a few times but the main thing is she’s happy, she’s healthy and her and I are good.”

As reportedDavid reportedly told his ex Yolanda “Your sick card is up,” before moving out and filing for divorce. Viewers witnessed cracks begin in their marriage.

David, 67, has since moved on with Katharine McPhee, 33. The couple have been dating for a few months and seem to be enjoying one another’s company.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is currently filming for Season 8.
