Bella Hadid, one of the supermodel daughters of former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Yolanda Hadid, has so far kept quiet about her Lyme disease.
Both Bella and brother Anwar preferred to let her mother lead the charge against the debilitating disease. Recently, Bella posted a picture on Snapchat of her arm hooked up to an IV, the caption said: everyday.
Fans are familiar with Yolanda’s dedication to Lyme disease, but she wasn’t happy when Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards discussed on RHOBH that assertion and doubt that Bella and Anwar were also inflicted with the disease. Bravo’s Daily Dish is reporting that Yolanda no longer shares her journey with Lyme. This reference posted in 2015 spoke about the “invisible disease.”
“2015-Watching my brave babies suffer in silence in order to support me in my journey has struck the deepest core of hopelessness inside of me, it is because of them that I continue to fight relentlessly……. I will not allow them to live a life of pain and suffering……. I will prevail and walk to the end of the earth to find a cure for them and millions of others debilitated by this invisible disease!!!! We all deserve to live a healthy life, don’t you think? #LymeDiseaseAwareness #FightingTheInvisible #RealLifeProblems #SoulPower #WeMustFindACureAffordableForAll #RHOBH @bravotv @bravoandy @evolutionusa Link to MY BLOG on tonight’s episode is in my bio-please check it out.”
While skepticism swirled on the last season of RHOBH about the Lyme disease diagnosis of Yolanda‘s children, earlier this year, the former reality star’s health advocate, April Daisy White, confirmed Bella‘s status,
“And… the gossip! Seeing not just Yolanda, someone I’ve grown to care about deeply under such public scrutiny but her children who are also in the midst of a difficult health journey while trying to grow their lives and careers. I have also helped Bella and Anwar in their road to wellness this year and to hear people doubt the truth of their diagnosis, of all three of them is heart-wrenching. I am on the front lines of their recovery daily. I know all three of their medical records inside and out. I have attended every doctor’s appointment so I know what’s true. Their diagnosis is on paper, in black and white.”
As reported, White describes herself on her website as someone who has been “a teacher, a writer, a coach, an actress, a pilates teacher, a translator,” and last, but certainly not least, a “high class call girl.”
No longer a ‘Real Housewife,’ Yolanda has returned to the world of modeling “while she struggles with symptoms of chronic Lyme every day.”
