Lauri Peterson’s Son Josh Waring Slapped With Seven Charges In Attempted Murder Case #RHOC
As reported, Joshua Waring, son of Real Housewives of Orange County alum, Lauri Peterson, was arrested earlier this week after allegedly shooting a man in Costa Mesa, Calif., and fleeing in a stolen car.
Waring, 27, shot Daniel Lopez in the upper torso at around 2:30 a.m and then fled the scene in a stolen BMW SUV. Officers gave chase and, “after a brief standoff, he surrendered without further incident,” police stated. Waring, who has a history of drug problems and run-ins with the law, was booked on suspicion of attempted murder, vehicle theft, felony evading police, hit-and-run, and assault and battery. Lopez is currently in the hospital and is expected to recover.
Waring appeared in the Costa Mesa courtroom at 10 a.m. today but did not plea, because the court date was moved to July 15. The troubled reality son is fcing three counts of attempted murder, three counts personal use of a firearm and one count of inflicting great bodily injury.
Initially the hearing was supposed to take place Wednesday, but the court postponed the arraignment after Waring refused to leave his cell.
Peterson, had been open about Josh‘s struggles with drugs and the law, there was a RHOC episode in which they went to counseling together.
