Tamra Judge Announces ‘Erased Mom’ Documentary About The Effects of Parental Alienation #RHOC
The mother-daughter dynamic between Tamra Judge and her estranged 17-year old daughter, Sidney Barney, is complex and fractured.
Their family drama played out publicly throughout the messy divorce of Tamra Judge and her ex-husband, Simon Barney, then the unpleasant custody battle that ensued.
Tamra was married to Simon Barney for 11 years and they have three children together. Their divorce was finalized October 2011, ending with Simon receiving full custody over Sidney, the couple’s oldest child. They share custody over their other two kids, Spencer, 15, and Sophia, 10.

During an emotional breakdown at The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 Reunion, Tamra revealed details of the strained relationship with her daughter Sidney.
“We can work through these things, we can go to counseling,” she told Bravo host Andy Cohen and the audience. “I had no idea, and for her to come and say that to me, it was like, where is this coming from? She basically left that day and two years later has not come back.”
After Tamra‘s jaw-dropping revelation, her daughter Sidney went on a Facebook rant following her mom’s emotional appearance — and she didn’t hold back. The teen, who has lived with her father, Simon Barney, for the past two years, accused Judge of, among other things, being “embarrassing” and “mentally/verbally abusive.”
“I watched the reunion show last night and I am disappointed,” she began her post. “I try not to talk about personal family matters with my friends, but I was made aware that my mother was talking about me and discussing our personal family matters on the show again. At this point I think it is necessary to tell the truth since she does not know how to tell the truth.”
Sidney went on to explain that Judge is “not a mother” to her, and that though she has asked the reality star to “stop treating [her] badly, to stop doing embarrassing [things],” and to stop using her siblings and her as “story lines,” Judge has continued to put the show and fame before her family’s concerns.
As a result, Tamra has now announced plans to participate in a documentary that will center around parent alienation brought on by the court system and divorce.
On May 27, Tamra Instagrammed a photo of herself holding a piece of paper that read, “#Erased Mom.” The post captioned, “Erasing family is a documentary in the making that will show how family court #erase loving parents after #divorce causing #parentalalienation and #familybondobstruction, If you are a child of alienation or a parent being alienated please visit their Facebook @erasingfamily & www.ErasingFamily.org #iwillnevergiveuponyou. #protectourchildren.”

During a 2015 ‘Watch What Happens Live’ appearance, Tamra broke down after relinquishing full custody of Sidney to Barney when he accused her of being a negligent mother in court documents.
“My oldest daughter has chosen to live with Simon because she is the one between the three kids – she got caught up in the middle of it,” Judge told hostAndy Cohen. “It’s a bad case of parental alienation, and it’s hard, and it’s still a struggle, and I love her more than anything.”
The 48-year old eventually remarried to third husband, Eddie Judge in 2013.

Keeping the Bravo fame train rolling could be causing irreparable damage to Tamra’s children and is destroying a family.
