NeNe Leakes Teases Cast Shake-Up For ‘RHOA’ Season 9 Cast
Real Housewives of Atlanta star, NeNe Leakes, spoke at the Ultimate Women’s Expo last week, and spilled some tea regarding the season 9 cast.
The event took place at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta and was held over two days, May 14 and 15.
Leakes addressed the crowd for 30-minutes, during which, an attendee asked the reality diva if she plans to return to the RHOA; after labeling the past season a “snoozefest” without her.
“Season nine?” Leakes responded. “Uhhhh…’Housewives?’ Uhhhh…. you got to wait for them [Bravo] to announce it. I can’t announce it. I would be in so much trouble if I made the announcement.”
NeNe continued her response with a startling reveal—implying a cast overhaul for season 9.
“Maybe. We’ll see. I think you guys will be surprised by who’s coming back and who’s not coming back.”
In addition to Leakes‘ titillating tea regarding the season 9 cast, All About the Tea reported that Kim Fields was fired. Although, Fields was plagued by allegations that her husband, Chris Morgan, is a closet homosexual, she was viewed as boring to viewers. By the end of season 8, Morgan found himself defending his heterosexual honor about the dirt that was dished by his wife’s co-stars.
