It’s a wrap! Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie Kim Fields has been fired.
On Monday, Fields appeared on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show via phone and confirmed her departure from the Bravo hit series.
“Feels more like Brett Favre and the Jets, I’m DONE!” Kim said.
The reality tv rookie attributes advise from her mom,
“At the beginning of the season, what did my mama say? ‘Get in and Get out’… so listen to your mama”
The 46-year-old shocked her RHOA co-stars when she showed up at many cast events, even a trip to Jamaica, with her kiddos in tow. Those “Facts of Life” along with Fields “boring” nature on camera drove Bravo to part ways with Fields. An exclusive source dished to All About the Tea,
“Kim was let go from the show because the audience couldn’t relate to her matronly attitude and boring life.”
During Kim‘s first cast trip to Miami, she broke into hysterics over missing her family and departed early under the guise — her life was in danger. And while Fields has been upfront about her difficulty in snapping out of “mom mode,” her actions didn’t sit well with the ladies,
“The other housewives often questioned her [Kim Fields] commitment to the demanding filming schedule.” The source adds, “Kim was not a good fit for the Atlanta crew.”
Another source tells All About the Tea that Kim agrees with the network’s decision,
“Kim wasn’t interested in making a comeback to RHOA because of how she and her husband was portrayed on the show.”
Kim‘s RHOA co-stars cast suspicions based on rumors surrounding her hubby, Christopher Morgan‘s, sexuality. Morgan found himself defending his heterosexual honor about the dirt that was dished by his wife’s co-stars.
Despite the drama, Fields acknowledged appreciation for the experience,
“It was for the experience, it was to be able to do a genre that I’d been asked to do before and finding a way that makes sense for my team and my family. Overall it was a really great experience.”
