Exclusive: Phaedra Parks vs Angela Stanton UPDATE!
Things are heating up in the legal battle between “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, Phaedra Parks and Angela Stanton, author of the book, “Lies of a Real Housewife: Tell The Truth and Shame The Devil.” In the book, Angela candidly exposes the scams Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida were doing years ago involving check and auto theft fraud. Angela and Apollo took the fall for those crimes and served time in prison while Phaedra got off scott-free.
On June 19, Ms. Stanton’s attorney, James Radford, fired off a letter to Phaedra Parks, notifying her (again) that her defamation lawsuit against Angela Stanton, was “wholly without merit.” Which essentially means, Phaedra’s lawsuit against Stanton was weak, frivolous and lacked merit. The letter also states, Angela’s attorneys believe, Phaedra filed the lawsuit with malicious intent to hinder the sales of her book, Lies of a Real Housewife, causing her:
1) “significant” loss of income of her intellectual property (her book)
2) high legal fees
3) emotional distress
This reveals that Angela’s attorneys are going for Phaedra’s jugular in damages.

The list of evidence proving Stanton’s claims are profound. Depositions from ex-boyfriends of Angela Stanton corroborate evidence backing up Angela’s claim that Phaedra was actually involved with (actually the one in charge of) the fraudulent check and auto theft schemes for which Angela was arrested.
Another very telling action on the part of Phaedra Parks and her attorney is their repeated refusal to have Phaedra deposed and/or offer evidence to prove Angela’s claims (in her book) are false. Angela’s attorney were force to file a “motion for summary judgment” against Phaedra, (asking the judge to rule in Angela’s favor prior to the case going to trial).

Phaedra FINALLY agreed to give some form of a statement. Only after Stanton’s lawyer called Phaedra out for dodging her own deposition (to provide evidence that Stanton defamed her), then Parks provided the following vague statement:
“I have never been arrested for a crime or charged with any crime. I have never been questioned by any law enforcement agency about any possible involvement in a crime. I have never been involved in any criminal schemes with Defendant Stanton or anyone else. I have never committed any crime other than routine traffic violations.”
The letter below states, this is a formal notice pursuant to O.C.G.A 51-7-84. Stanton’s attorney is requesting Parks dismiss her defamation lawsuit (against Angela Stanton) or Stanton’s legal counsel will pursue claims of abusive litigation.
