Woman Sues To Stop Tonight’s Explosive #RHONY Episode From Going On Air!
Carole Radziwill secretly recorded a convo that a miffed woman attempted to keep off tonight’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York.
Legal docs reveal that Barbara K, founder of a DIY company, is claiming that a conversation between herself and Carole was captured without her knowledge, at a Manhattan charity event, reports TMZ. She says that she was aware that Bravo was filming, but that the duo was far from cameras — and the woman did not know that Carole was mic’d.
The business owner also alleges that she received a phone call from Carole, more than a month later, that was also recorded without her knowledge. According to the docs, Carole later clued her in—informing her that both exchanges had been recorded for RHONY. Reportedly, Barbara informed Carole that she gave no permission for the interactions to be aired, and her lawyer followed up, by sending a legal warning to Bravo.
Barbara requested an emergency court order to stop the show from using her likeness and/or voice in Wednesday’s show, after Bravo ignored her plea.
Bravo reported at 1:20 pm, PT, that the judge rejected Barbara’s motion to block, and that the footage will not be altered for tonight’s show.
