#SouthernCharm Star Cameran Eubanks’ Husband’s DUI Revealed

With a new season of Southern Charm right around the corner, there are a few things we can expect.

Shep Rose will sleep until noon. Thomas Ravenel and his baby mama, Kathryn, will continue to hate each other. And we’ll never catch a glimpse of Cameran Eubanks’ husband.

Cameran has gone to great lengths to keep her doctor hubby, Jason Wimberly, out of the spotlight. She says it’s to guard her relationship.

“I’ve purposefully chosen to keep that out of the picture because I think people who put their personal life on TV are kind of nuts.”She told Wetpaint. “Nine times out of 10 it doesn’t end up working out.”

But could it also be that Dr. Wimberly, 40, was once arrested for a DUI?

Back in 2012, Jason, an anesthesiologist, attempted a fast food run late one night. Unfortunately, he made a U-turn through a red light and “then attempted to pull in to a fast food restaurant’s parking lot.”

According to the police report:

“While turning into the lot, the vehicle drove over the curb and missed striking the restaurant’s sign by a matter of inches.”

When questioned by police, he was “slow to respond to verbal commands to exit the vehicle.” Jason claimed he was coming from one friend’s house and heading to see another friend.

The police noticed Jason’s “bloodshot watery eyes”, and “slurred speech”, and there was also “the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his mouth as he spoke.”

Though required by law to take a breathalyzer test, Jason refused. He also refused at the police station.

Jason entered a not guilty plea, but later plead no contest to reckless driving in exchange for the police dropping two of the other charges. He paid a fine of $ 880.25 in court fees in July 2014 — just three months after his wedding to Cameran.
