Super Bowl 2017 Recap: Patriot’s Triumph & Lady Gaga Half Time Show!
Did you watch Super Bowl L1 on Sunday night? So much chatter about who was the better performer. Was it Tom Brady who led the Patriots to a stunning and unexpected win after a half time score of Atlanta Falcons 21 to the New England Patriot’s 3?
Or was Lady Gaga the real winner for her flawless performance that featured her jumping from the top of Houston’s NRG Stadium and dangling above the crowd as she sang in perfect pitch?
After the big win, Tom Brady kissed his wife supermodel, Gisele Bündchen, while holding his daughter. Also there to celebrate the win was Brady’s mom who is currently battling an illness that’s been described as “tough” on the family.
“They’re all happy,” Brady said of his family’s reaction to the Patriot’s overtime win. “There’s going to be a great celebration tonight.”
Prior to the big game, former President George H.W. Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush were on the field to deliver the coin toss. The two had recently been admitted to the Methodist Hospital in their hometown of Houston and eventually released within days of each other.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t all fun and games for Mark Wahlberg who is infamous for his admiration of Tom Brady. Unfortunately he was unable to watch the Patriot’s comeback and had to leave the game early when his young son got sick.
But the big looser of the night might be yet again another “wardrobe malfunction” in Houston. This time it wasn’t Janet Jackson, who flashed an unsuspecting crowd but Chrissy Teigen who suffered a nip slip while watching the game with husband John Legend.
