BREAKING NEWS: Save Our Daughters Not Considered A “Charity” By The IRS….Is The Charity A Scam?
As reported early this morning, Save Our Daughters charity reported they had not received any proceeds from the masquerade ball held on Sunday’s episode.
Kenya Moore quickly responded with a handful of text messages and canceled bank checks proving monies were donated.
Well as it turns out, this organization’s exempt status was revoked by the IRS for failure to file a Form 990, 990-EZ, 990-N, or 990-PF for 3 consecutive years. For a charity that represents itself as a non-profit organization, this revelation looks very shady. We’re hoping for the best and waiting for a statement from charity but this doesn’t look well.
The last year Save Our Daughters “charity” reported revenue was in 2006:
Total Revenue…………………………………………………….$100,000
Total Expenses……………………………………………………$93,782
Actual Donation $ Used For Charity…………………………….$16,000
