Caroline Manzo Shades Teresa Giudice’s Prison Stint ‘I Don’t Know Any Celebrities That Have Been In Jail’
The new season of Manzo’d With Children premieres tonight among the criminal backdrop of fellow Jersey Bravolebs.
Recently on The Today show, Manzo’d With Children matriarch, Caroline Manzo, made the claim that she “doesn’t know any celebrities that have been in jail,” in response to the question – do stars get preferential treatment?
This comment came up on the Today Show, asking about a family trip to Al Capone’s jail cell – a mob boss who was eventually convicted of tax evasion – but the remark was unequivocally referencing ex-castmate, Teresa Giudice.
Giudice, served a 10.5 month prison sentence at Danbury Correctional Facility for bank and bankruptcy fraud. Her husband, Joe, is currently serving a 41-month sentence.

During follow up questions by Hoda Kotb and Billy Bush on the next segment, Caroline clarified her stance.
“I don’t consider what we do celebrity,” she said. “We’re television personalities.” She adds, “Celebrity in my mind…you got to have a talent.”
