Yolanda Hadid is busting back onto the modeling scene, according to some recent pics posted on her Instagram account. The former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills noted being “on set” in one of her classic happy-feet pics.

Yolanda first began modeling when she was discovered by Eileen Ford in the late 70’s, when Dutch designer Frans Molenaar asked her to replace one of his models in his show. Hadid was signed by Ford, and modeled for fifteen years, working in Paris, Milan, Sydney, Cape Town, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles and Hamburg.

Hadid quit the biz in 1994, when she married Mohamed Hadid and moved to LA, to settle and have a family. The couple divorced in 2000, and in recent years, Yolanda’s focus has been launching her children Gigi, Bella, and Anwar into the modeling world.

Hadid split from husband David Foster late last year, and raised eyebrows across social media when she shifted from “Foster” back to “Hadid.” The move triggered the rumor that Yolanda had her sights laser focused on the skyrocketing Hadid name.
Yolanda claimed on the show that she was vowing off chemical beauty treatments, including hair dye and nail polish, in an effort to beat Lyme disease. How such a commitment will square with an industry demand for camera-perfection, is yet to be explained. Yolanda gave a shout out to a pro for her blond locks in one of her photos — so much for the natural look!
How do you think Yolanda will be received, as she seeks renewed life in front of a camera?
