UPDATE: Below Deck Star Kate Chastain Arrested On Battery By Strangulation Domestic Violence Charges

Below Deck star, Kate Chastain, chief stew on Bravo’s hit reality show has been arrested — again!
The arrest took place on Monday in Melbourne Beach, Florida — Chastain’s hometown.
According to a police report obtained by All About the Tea, Brevard County is charging Chastain with battery by strangulation domestic violence.
Kate appeared on seasons 2 and 3 of the hit Bravo series, which follows the lives of the million-dollar guests and the crew that serves them.
Chastain, 33, is no stranger to a jail cell — the yachtie has quite a colorful criminal past. Charges ranging from DUI, possession of a controlled substance, and a bevy of probation violations.
The reality star has been in the yachting industry since about 2007, working her way up from laundry stewardess to chief stew.

Chastain tried to kick her drunk girlfriend out of their house and when she refused, Kate bit her in the forearm, bicep and leg. Cops say Kate also put a knee on her head, choked her, and tried to stop her breathing. Kate was arrested and booked for a felony domestic violence charge of battery by strangulation. She appeared in court Tuesday afternoon … and posted a $5,000 bond.
