In Bravo’s sneak peek of the Real Housewives of Dallas reunion show, it’s like watching a real episode of Dallas, y’all. The tension, the conflict, the serious glasses on Andy Cohen.
We begin with a tearful Cary Dueber professing yet again she didn’t have an affair with her Mark Dueber. Brandi Redmond confirms that she heard the rumor from LeeAnne Locken, but wanted no part of it. This may or may not be true. Seems like Brandi would find this very interesting. Never the less, Andy asks why LeeAnne wouldn’t go straight to Cary with this rumor.
“Cary and I don’t get along,” LeeAnne explained. “We’ve never gotten along. We haven’t gotten along since before Cary actually even knew me.”
“That’s not true,” Cary interrupts, adding. “Before this show I’ve never had a problem with you.”
After Cary and LeeAnne accuse each other of being misinformed about their character, LeeAnne tells Cary she’s tired of being called a social climber because you don’t have to be born into Dallas society to be a socialite.
“I show up at charity events because I truly give a $hit about charity,” LeeAnne pleads.
Not quite Mahatma Gandhi, who said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” But I’m going to go out on a limb and say that’s what LeeAnne meant.
LeeAnne says to Cary, “Why disrespect my charity and say that it’s not okay for me to, quote un-quote, spread rumors about your marriage, but it’s okay for you to, quote un-quote, spread rumors about why I do charity?”
Cary answers, “I’m not spreading rumors. I’m saying it to your face.”
Then Mark jumps in demanding to know where exactly Cary spread the rumor about LeeAnne’s charity.
“Where did she spread the rumor?” Mark questioned. “You went around, it’s on camera with you going around saying she stole me. You said it four or five times.” Mark’s voice kicks up an octave. “Why did you say it?”
“Oh my God,” LeeAnne says. “Are you all right, honey?”
Which is southern for, “I don’t give a $hit.”
