Things turned ugly during an explosive argument between Luann de Lesseps and Bethenny Frankel, on last night’s episode of Real Housewives of New York.
Bethenny was threatened by quips Luann made about the inception of Skinnygirl, and launched into a tirade, blasting Luann’s reputation. Interestingly, it wasn’t long ago that the still-married mogul’s own dating reputation, was called into question.

Frankel blasted de Lesseps, accusing her of being a hypocritical slut, while asserting that she never engages in such trashy behavior.
“What man have I ever rolled up—on anybody? What married man have I ever slept with?” Frankel ranted.
Last February rumors were swirling around Bethenny, as sources reported to Page Six that the Skinnygirl mogul was canoodling with Dennis Shields, executive chairman of the board of New York’s Esquire Bank. Shields, who’s also the hubby of an old high school pal of Bethenny’s, has been friends with Frankel for over two decades.
“Bethenny has a new boyfriend,” one source claimed back in February, adding, “She even just threw a birthday party for him.” Another source close to the reality star dished, “Bethenny and Dennis have been friends for 27 years — and she did throw him a birthday party.”
Another source asserted that Shields and his wife, Jill, are separated. The couple wed in 1990.
“Bethenny and Dennis’ soon-to-be-ex-wife have a long history.” The insider said that although “he’s had feelings for Bethenny for a long time,” he and the ‘Housewife’ are friends.”
Shields is also CEO of LawCash — a potential winner for a woman who appears to only date fat cats. Frankel has been entrenched in a divorce from her husband, Jason Hoppy, since 2013.
Perhaps Bethenny had not taken the plunge with a married man at the time of the Bravo holiday filming — but maybe she had. Luann might not be the only alleged hypocrite, in the NYC bunch.
