Phaedra Parks Talks Sheree and Bob Whitfield’s Relationship And Kenya Moore’s Apology
Phaedra Parks has some interesting things to say about second chances—when it comes to Bob and Sheree Whitfield. On The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Sheree brought Bob as her plus one on the trip to Jamaica. Phaedra approves.
“I’ve known Sheree and Bob for years. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for both of them. Bob is super smart and extremely witty. Sheree is a great mother and a tough cookie!”
Bob hasn’t always been there for his kids, but he’s trying to change.
“I’ve always felt that the true measure of a man is not based on the mistakes he has made, but how he evolves from those mistakes and becomes a better person. Bob seems to genuinely care about Sheree and is working on bettering himself for the sake of a possible future together.”
I wonder if she sees any parallels to her own situation with jailed husband, Apollo?
“It’s very easy to throw the past in someone’s face, but I think it is more important for people to work towards the future. Everybody knows that every saint has a past and every sinner has a future.”
Up until this part in the show, Phaedra hasn’t taken her kids to see Apollo. She hasn’t exactly been forgiving of his mistakes. And I’m not saying she should, but I thought her comments were very ironic in light of her own life choices.
This week, Kenya Moore was throwing out apologies left and right. So was she sincere? Phaedra has her doubts.
“No, but that is not my story to tell. Time will tell whether or not the apology was sincere. Actions always speak louder than words.”
Well, we know those two ladies will never be besties, so grain of salt.
How does this trip to Jamaica rank on the luxe vacay scale?
“I would rate this trip in the top three. My all-time favorite trip was when I took the ladies to Africa. My second favorite trip was to the Million Man March in Washington, D.C. Our Jamaica trip is in a close tie with the Philippines.”
But Phaedra sees a deeper purpose in her Bravo trips—besides sipping cocktails by the pool, showing her ass off in string cover ups, and talking about sex every chance she gets.
“I enjoy our trips most when there is a philanthropic element and we are able to truly appreciate the culture.”
So do you think Kenya’s apology was sincere? And is Phaedra upset that Apollo was committing crimes or that he got caught?
