Mazel! Luann de Lesseps Is Engaged – Get Details
The man-eater is off the market! Congrats to Luann de Lesseps, star of The Real Housewives of New York, and her fiancee Thomas D’Agostino Jr., on their engagement. According to Luann’s rep, she was surprised by D’Agostino with an 8 carat canary yellow diamond. Originally, he had planned to propose on Valentine’s Day, but just couldn’t wait and got down on one knee over Super Bowl Weekend at his New York home.
“Luann is ‘over the moon’ in love with Thomas, considers him her soulmate and is so happy and grateful to have found love a second time. The happy couple [will be] celebrating [by] jetting off for a ski vacation in Vail, Co. this week.”
There had been earlier hints this day was coming when Luann called Thomas her “soulmate” in an earlier interview with FABlife.
“I was married for 16 years the first time and very lucky and have my two beautiful children. I never thought it would happen to me again, but I found love again, and I’m a hopeless romantic,” she said. “So it looks like we’re gonna get married.”
Thomas has been romantically linked to Romana Singer shortly after her divorce from Mario, and sources say that Dorinda Medley introduced the new happily engaged couple.
Thomas had this to say about the relationship. “We were each with other people but started talking and it was magic.” He added, “We have been inseparable ever since. She is like an asteroid who has impacted my life.”
