Dance Moms Star Abby Lee Miller Fraud Trial Delayed Again
Dance Moms personality, Abby Lee Miller, is not quitting her Lifetime show, nor is she yet choosing to mount a defense on her indictment of 20 counts of fraud.
The indictment means a possible 5-years behind bars, and $5 million in fines, for the Lifetime star.
Miller has been granted an extension by a federal judge, after claiming for the third time, that she needs more time to look at evidence the FBI has compiled against her. Miller now has until March 1st, to get the required paperwork to court.
The feds filed an indictment last October, against the controversial reality star. She’s accused of concealing more than $755,000 in fees and other assets from the Collins Avenue-produced show in her ongoing bankruptcy court proceedings. On November 2nd, Miller pleaded not guilty to the charges, at an arraignment in Pittsburgh, PA. No trial date has been set.

The news of the granted extension collides with a storyline on Dance Moms, where viewers are being led to believe that the stress of the case is triggering Abby Lee to quit the show. Miller was granted permission to travel for work by Judge McVerry, on January 20. The travel request spills the tea about Miller’s ongoing presence the show. The request reads,
“Ms. Miller’s employment presently requires her to travel from Los Angeles, California to Las Vegas, Nevada, on Friday, January 22, 2016, and she is scheduled to return to Los Angeles on Monday, January 25, 2016.”
We all know that Abby Lee Miller would have to be dragged out in handcuffs, to leave the reality spotlight!
