Eddie Cibrian Claps Back at Brandi Glanville’s Comments About LeAnn Rimes: “She’s a Liar”
It’s been nearly seven years and time has not healed old wounds between Eddie Cibrian and his ex, Brandi Glanville!
As reported, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Brandi exploded on LeAnn Rimes, 33, for posting holiday photos of Brandi’s sons on social media. Brandi’s ex-husband, Eddie is now responding and the cheating baby daddy actor didn’t mince words, calling his ex-wife a “liar.” Ouch!
“Brandi is lying,” Cibrian, 42, told People magazine. “She lies for the sake of publicity and she has to bring in my wife unfortunately for it to make headlines. It isn’t fair. She never asked LeAnn to not post pictures of the kids during the holidays, ever. They don’t even talk!”
On Brandi’s issue with the custody arrangement for Mason, 12, and Jake, 8, saying that she doesn’t see her sons as much, Cibrian asserts,
“She sees the kids as much as I do. She was with them for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. And I miss my kids tremendously when they’re not with me, but I don’t ask her not to post pictures.”
Eddie continued to say that he and Brandi broke up officially in 2009 (after he was caught having an affair with the country singer), so “normal” to their sons is splitting their time with mom and half with dad. “The kids have lived in a household with LeAnn and me longer than they ever lived in a household with me and Brandi,” he said. “This is normal.”
With regards to his sons,
“They’re well-adjusted. But it saddens me that they can get on the Internet and get influenced by this negativity that only comes from one side. That’s really disheartening.”
“Brandi’s play is to keep this going, and I’m shocked that the press still takes the bait,” says the actor. “It’s unfortunate. She won’t [leave us alone]. One day, I hope it all goes away, because it’s been long enough.”
As for the personal attacks against his wife, “It’s unfair for LeAnn,” says Cibrian. “What has she done? Nothing, but love the children.” And after all, “[Our sons] have a mother who loves them, and a father and a stepmother who loves them. That’s all that should matter.”
