Claudia Jordan Is Done Speaking About Porsha Williams! “Don’t ask me about her anymore”
Is it possible that Kenny Rogers anticipated the day “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” was born? You don’t see the connection? “You’ve got to know when to hold ‘em. Know when to fold ‘em. Know when to walk away, and know when to run.”. (You should see what I can do with a mashup of Midsummer’s Night Dream and Blood, Sweat, and Heels). Given how fast and far the insults were being flung, Claudia Jordan may have kept those lyrics in mind as she spoke her mind when she seemed for believe it was needed, but stayed out of the heavy (and ridiculous) nay-nay inspired fighting.
She used her words sparingly but effectively. Was she shocked about Porsha’s denial of the allegation that she was sleeping with a married man?
“No, but I really don’t want to be asked to speak on her anymore. I really and truly do not care. She’s not in my circle. I don’t really know any women outside of the other Housewives that hang with her, and I couldn’t care less. The only reason it was ever brought up was to show the hypocrisy of some of the ladies. I made my point and kept it moving. I hope I’m beyond clear.”
I would wager a bet that I am not the only one who is glad the subject is closed. I am sure that Ms. Williams will think twice, may a dozen times, before taking part in dragging Ms. Jordan. There is good “old-fashioned shade“ and then there is the below the belt hitting Ms. Jordan alluded to in her blog from last week. It appears that Porsha’s comments went a step beyond shade and landed in the all out “personal attack and character assassination” territory. I can’t say that I blame Claudia for being upset. She claims her comments about Porsha are based on what she can prove through the friends they have in common. And Porsha”s comments? Maybe Porsha needs to brush up on her shade skills. Who is the shadiest of them all? According to Claudia:
“I think everyone in this group has the potential on any given day to be shady as hell…myself included. It’s a gift and a curse! But I didn’t say much in Part 2, because I am trying my best to stay out of arguments that don’t concern me if I don’t need to refer to them to prove a point. So I sat back, chilled, and enjoyed the fireworks and stayed out of the line of fire.”
Know when to hold ‘em! She goes on to write:
“Plus no one needed my help or co-signing — girls were getting read left and right without my assistance, so there was no need for me to offer up my opinion on things that had nothing to do with me. I think I did well exercising self-control!”
I wish the wives in every franchise learned this lesson. The pile on is not necessary. It often crosses the line. It’s good to see a group of wives (Claudia, Cynthia, Demetria, and Kenya) who trust one another and believe in one another’s strengths.True maturity.
We learn that she is not shocked by anything that happens other than when unexpected peace breaks out… and that doesn’t happen too often on the show so she has nothing to worry about. She concludes by sharing her travel experiences with the audience:
I was just in St. Thomas for Carnival, and I was shooting a magazine cover and a music video for the reggae artist, Pressure, and I had such a good time! So many people approached me at Carnival who are fans of RHOA. So I just wanted to say thank you to them all! I’m including a few pictures.

I’m an exasperated soap fan who keeps hanging on – waiting for the daytime I once loved to return to its former glory! Hey, it doesn’t hurt to have a dream. I learned to love soaps thanks to my wonderful mother and grandmother. I’ll always have fond memories of daytime, most especially of ‘Another World’, my first stoap love. The ever great, but sadly defunct, daytime shows like Ryan’s Hope, Search for Tomorrow, The Doctors, Loving, and many others keep a special place in my heart, as well.
