Mendeecees Harris Pleads Guilty To Drug Charges & Mendeecees and Yandy To Wed on Live TV
“Love & Hip Hop New York” star couple, Mendeecees Harris and Yandy Smith-Harris could be headed down a bumpy newlywed road, because Mendeecees has reportedly pleaded guilty to running a drug trafficking ring in upstate New York. The couple is set to get married on live TV on “Love & Hip Hop Live: The Wedding.” According to the VH1 press release, on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th 8-10pm EST, YOU are a special invited guest to the wedding of the millennium as Yandy & Mendeecees Get Married -LIVE! Mendeecees pled guilty to narcotics conspiracy, admitting that he shipped heroine and cocaine to the Rochester, NY area over a span of seven years. Currently free on $600,000 bail, partially provided by Yandy. Mendeecees faces 5-10 years in federal prison plus a hefty fine, according to his attorney, Donald Thompson. Mendeecees accepted a plea deal which requires him to turn over all earnings from “Love & Hip Hop New York,” and all public appearance earnings as well. His sentencing date has been set for August 31st.
Mendeecees has four children, including a daughter, born three months ago to his soon to be bride, Yandy Smith-Harris.
