Porsha Williams KICKED OFF Delta Flight… FBI Now Investigating After Another Anger Meltdown!
Porsha Williams’ trip home from BravoCon took an unexpected and dramatic turn when she was reportedly escorted off a Delta Airlines flight on Sunday, November 16 — a situation now under review by the FBI.
According to TMZ, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 44, was seen walking off the aircraft with an officer and speaking with him briefly at the gate. “FBI Atlanta is aware of incident on a Delta flight on November 16th allegedly involving Porsha Williams and/or at least one other person,” a spokesperson for FBI Atlanta told the outlet. “We are looking to see whether any federal charges may or may not apply.”
Delta later confirmed that two passengers were involved in an onboard altercation and that the flight continued to Atlanta as scheduled, where it was met by law enforcement. It was additionally reported that the plane landed without issue before officers boarded.
Porsha had spent the weekend at BravoCon in Las Vegas before the incident occurred during her return trip. Shortly after the story broke, Porsha’s attorney, Joe Habachy, issued a statement to PEOPLE pushing back on any implication that she was at fault.
“Porsha exited the aircraft after she was ‘verbally assaulted by an irate and unhinged passenger without provocation,’” he said. “The passenger then proceeded to make false allegations that were in direct conflict with observations from several eyewitnesses. As with any incident occurring aboard an aircraft, federal authorities are required to conduct an investigation involving all parties to determine what, if any, offenses occurred.”
Joe added that Porsha Williams “has every intention of cooperating with law enforcement to whatever extent necessary, and remains confident that the passenger will be charged.” The day after the flight drama, Porsha addressed her mental health in an emotional Instagram video, thanking fans for their support during what she described as a difficult period.
“Keep pushing! I thank God everyday that i’m in my right mind and not only haven’t lost myself but i’ve found & appropriate a better me,” she wrote.
“Leaving BravoCon i’m filled with all the love and warmth and support from our beautiful fans.”
“I just wanna extend a thank you from the bottom of my heart for not only your prayers but for being with me on this journey call life,” she continued. “I love me again & I love you all! Thank you mommy for being my back bone #RawRealLife No more survival mode we will thrive!! We are kicking depressions ass !! #Grateful #MentalhealthMatters.”
