Gia Giudice and Luis Ruelas Re-Follow Joe Gorga on Instagram After Years of Family Feud!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey family feud might finally be thawing. Gia Giudice and her stepfather, Luis Ruelas, have re-followed Joe Gorga on Instagram, marking the first public sign of peace after years of estrangement.

Nearly two weeks after Joe, 51, and wife Melissa Gorga, 46, reunited with Teresa Giudice, 53, and Luis, 50, the families appear to be taking steps toward reconciliation. “The meeting went fine,” a source told Us Weekly. “The conversation was about moving forward from the show drama. They are going to move forward, but it’s not going to be overnight.”
Though it’s unclear how often they’ll continue the dialogue, both Teresa and Melissa are set to attend BravoCon in Las Vegas from November 14–16.

The two Housewives stars will reportedly stay at different hotels, and there are currently no joint appearances planned — but fans are curious if the former in-laws might share a stage again.
Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey ended in August 2024, with tensions between the Giudices and the Gorgas at an all-time high. But according to Melissa, time away from filming may have helped. “I think it’s been enough time that maybe there’s room for conversation,” Melissa said on October 23. “I never really wanted this, and I’m always going to be team family. I do think, for all of our children’s sake, I would love for everyone to get to a place of healing.”

Teresa first revealed on I Do, Part 2 podcast that she had reached out to Joe and Melissa in hopes of reconciling. Joe later confirmed the outreach, telling The Eds podcast, “She did text me. She reached out. She would like to sit down and meet. I’ve never wanted to argue with her ever. If I sit down with her, it has to be humble, it has to be real, it has to be, you know, ‘I’ve made mistakes,’ and we can move forward.”
Even Joe Giudice weighed in, encouraging his ex-wife Teresa to let bygones be bygones. “I know they met Saturday,” Joe claimed. “At the end of the day, it’s still her brother. It’s her only brother. The cousins don’t speak, which isn’t right. I mean, get over it. What are you gonna do?”

Gia Giudice, 24, also spoke out about the family tension on Page Six podcast, saying she hopes the families can find “peace for everyone.” “Obviously, my mother and father are divorced, and I am extremely close with my dad’s side,” Gia explained. “Even though your parents aren’t best friends or stuff didn’t work out, there’s still a way and room to have a relationship.”
Gia admitted that the feud has trickled down to the younger generation — she no longer speaks to her cousins — and called the situation “definitely unfortunate.”

“Unfortunately, I think the circumstances were a little different just because it got so crazy on Housewives and it was just a lot,” she said. “I don’t blame it on either one of us for not maintaining a relationship. I’m just hoping for peace and clarity between both of them.”
Still, Gia made it clear that she’s tired of fans choosing sides. “It’s so stupid because at the end of the day, you’re basically just hoping for a family to stay broken,” she said.
